Getting Prepared and Pumped!!
Next month is March and it is not far away now! On March 13, my oldest brother is getting married and RJ and I are getting very excited!! I made a card for the happy couple and we also got Rebecca's dress in the mail the other day. How cute?!
Also, yesterday I was told that baby Dayne is getting molars, so I checked RJ's mouth and sure enough she has one cutting through and I can feel the others!! Poor baby...sick and getting molars.

Vday
I didn't quite make it to 14. I skipped Valentine's Day. But we had so much fun! I made Pear Oatmeal in the crockpot that was ready for breakfast in the morning and was delicious! Then we went out to lunch at La Fogata in Walnut Creek (which I do not recommend) with Steve's coworkers because it was their last week for 2 of them and they had been working there since '81. Then for dinner we ordered PF Chang's to go. Then I made Flan for dinner, but I used cream cheese in it so it was a more dense flan so i would eat it too. Rebecca bought me a white bear holding a heart that says I love you, but she seems to have taken it over. All in all it was low key and very nice.

#13 Favorite Girl Scout Cookie
There is a wonderful thing about the winter after the holidays are over...Girl Scout Cookies. I don't know if they are actually out in the boxes, but Dreyer's has their ice cream made with Girl Scout Cookie chunks out. They have 3 different kinds. Tagalongs, Thin Mint and Samoas. By far, Samoas is the best in my book. Love, love, love these cookies. And you know what's even better...Steve doesn't like them. So I can buy the ice cream and not worry about only having one bowl every 4-5 days, it will still be there when I want it!!!

Knitting Rocks My World!!
I love knitting. It is such a wonderful thing because it is a multi-tasking hobby. For instance last night I was reading A Thousand Splendid Suns and finished knitting this beautiful baby blanket for a friend. Or I love watching TV or a movie and knitting. And the yarn is just so soft and cuddly! I love it!

I love the Beach!!
#10 is the Beach. I love the beach and yesterday was a beautiful day and we went to Baker Beach by the Golden Gate Bridge. I love the sand and the sun. I especially love warm water. This is one of the things lacking here in the San Francisco area. There is no such thing as warm water here.
Before going to the beach we went on a little train ride up in the Berkeley hills at Tilden Park. It was so much fun!! It is a real steam train.
.
This is the view from the train. It was amazing! Blow it up and you can see the Golden Gate and the Bay Bridge.

David Gray #9
The other CD that I'm loving right now is Life in Slow Motion by David Gray. Another one my sister gave to me last Christmas after the majority of my CDs had been stolen on my birthday.
Also this is my 100th post!!!! So I was thinking about doing a drawing with a prize. But seriously...I don't know what kind of prize to do. So stay posted and hopefully I will have a grand idea for a prize.

Snow Patrol #8
I love music and right now I'm hooked on Snow Patrol's older CD Final Straw. Two songs particularly...Run and Chocolate. I woul love to go see them in concert, but have not gotten that chance yet. I also like their Eyes Open CD. When I hear the Chasing Cars song, it makes me think of being on bed rest. Which I find very fitting since the lyrics are, "If I lay here, If I just lay here..."

Card Candy
How wonderful does that sound? Oh I think it sounds so DELIGHTFUL!!! But maybe that has something to do with my sweet "teeth", because we all know it is not just one tooth that craves candy...especially my dentist. At first I thought it meant someone sends you cards and candy, but really card candy is things that can be placed on a card. So I'm going to do this swap that is a Spring/Easter Card Candy Swap. And I'm going to make card candy and then others will make it and then we swap them. So, below are examples of card candy that others have made on SCS...

Fishy...hehehehe...
I love this picture of her sticking her arm in the bag. So cute and such a mess-maker!
This is the card I made today for the SCS challenge. Its funny because I really liked it when I was done. Simple, but I thought it was cute. Then I started looking at all the other cards that people made for this challenge and I start to think less of my card. But then I looked at it again...I still like it.

Feb. 5: Super & Fat Tuesday
A lot going on today! Have you voted?! Rebecca has (or at least the sticker on her pjs says she did). This was my first time to ever vote. 4 years ago I was not registered. Mardi Gras also started today. We saw a posting on craigslist last night that was two people who are in San Francisco looking for a ride to go to Mardi Gras. That would be one SERIOUSLY long drive!!
We my favorite thing for today is my body pillow!! I bought it before going to college and I don't want to sleep without this thing ever since. I love it! And my mom bought me this blue fuzzy cover for it. Sleep is such a wonderful thing!

Loved Loved Loved!!! (Lovely to the third)
I LOVED my wedding. I LOVED my dress. I love my husband. I love the pictures. I loved the reception. I love being with family.
I LOVE Texas!!! Sadly it was July in Texas and my dress was long sleeved...but minor detail.
I definitely find it helpful to look back on these pictures whenever I am feeling frustrated with that husband of mine.

Lovely #2 - Meet Dolly
This is Dolly! She is one of my favorite things because she is one of Rebecca's favorite things. It really should say Lovey as the title. This is Rebecca's Lovey! I had a baby as my lovey. Nobody wants to see a picture of it. If I could find one before it got mutilated by the kid Kelli, then maybe a picture could be posted. Because I have had my own and I know how much I love my baby, I feel like I know how Rebecca feels when it comes to her dolly. And it is just so sweet to see how much she loves it. I took some video yesterday of a sweet little dolly event...

Lovely Things for 14 Lovely Days!!
Happy February! So, reading Ashley's blog this morning, she challenged everyone to post everyday until Valentine's Day things they like. So I have decided to accept. Starting things off with....
actually two things...
One is cards. I have gotten obsessed lately with making cards. I found this website community that I'm apart of now and they have challenges and I have been making lots of cards for these challenges. It has been so much fun! So below are four cards I have made in the past week.
Two deals with something all these cards have in common. Anyone? Anyone? Oh yes that would be my CUTTLEBUG!!! Each one has letters from my Cuttlebug. The one right below is my newest alpha set, Red Tag Sale. I love my Cuttlebug. It is so easy to use and I love having pretty letters. It also does more, like embossing! Which is way cool too.
