I made both of these before I left for Texas. I did them for a Gina K. Release Party. The bunny one was a sketch challenge and the spring smile was a color challenge. Odd colors to put together, but I think it turned out good overall.

Matt's Wedding

So haven't blogged for awhile because I have been in Texas for my brother's wedding.



















Here is the beautiful couple before the sealing in front of the San Antonio Temple.




















In front of the temple, there was a fountain that Rebecca is playing in. Holly just loved the bum shot!

Then she started putting the water in her hair. And then she was having Bebe style it for her. Such a funny girl.

Here are four generations of women in our family. Funny picture, since we weren't ready for it.





On Friday night, there was a ring ceremony and reception at a beautiful location overlooking Lake Travis. The first picture was just a random shot, but the next is the wedding party.






















So poor RJ has ear infections again....or still. So we went to the doctor today and have gotten her stronger medicine because they are really bad now. She has been so fussy, so hopefully she will get better. Teaches me a lesson to be more dilligent with giving her medicine.

Upgrade

Steve and I are pleased to announce that we have upgraded!!!

We used to have a 13" tv screen, but now our tv screen is the same size as our computer monitor, not smaller! No this tv is not huge, but hey it works great and it was free.

Card Candy

So I said I was doing a card candy swap...if anyone remembers. The first three pictures are ones I made. And I got my package in the mail today (bottom picture)! I also won two of the trivias that were posted so I got extras. It was such a wonderful package and is just making me smile today! I'm so happy! I have this cute stuff to play with and I leave for Texas in two days!!!!

And I also got these tweezers that are reverse action tweezers, meaning when you push them they open (as opposed to close). But I didn't notice them when I pulled the stuff out on my messy table with all my papercrafting stuff. But then I started working on another card and I found a package upside down and didn't know what it was. And it was tweezers!! I've been needing some craft tweezers.

Just a little taste

Thursday morning, Rebecca and I went down to Livermore to play with baby Dayne and Ashley. Rebecca and Dayne played so well together. Ashley and I started playing Rock Band in the afternoon around 2 and Rebecca was desperately in need of a nap. Well, Rebecca got a taste of her own medicine and Dayne had a taste of Rebecca. We had to stop in the middle of the song we were playing to see what happened. You can see the cute little teeth marks on her cheek! Rebecca has bit Crewe twice now. She has bit Steve once in a place that wasn't good. Steve almost hurt her badly just because of automatic reaction, but stopped himself. But she has not even tried to bite Steve since. She tries to bite me on a regular basis. When I hold her hand to keep her with me and she doesn't want me holding her hand. She tries to bite my hand.

Just so you know.....

I talked with some friends and they thought it would be best if I informed you of something instead of surprising you when I see you in a week. I don't think it is a big deal, but that's just me. There is something that I have wanted to do for many years now and I did it. It involves a needle and my nose. That is all I have to say.

San Francisco Zoo

I had a friend who thought it would be fun to get a group together and go to the zoo yesterday because the first Wednesdy of the month is free. I told my next door neighbor about it, but we both thought it would work better if we went a little earlier in the day. So we left about 9, hoping that way we could get our kids back for a nap at a decent time. And I was a horrible friend and did not tell my friend that I was going to go earlier and I even thought I would call and see if we could meet up when they got there. But I'm a slacker. Victory, forgive me?

I'm also a slacker when it comes to pictures. Up until Rebecca was born, I was not very good about remembering to take my camera or to take pictures. I have forced myself to take lots of pictures, now that I have a kid, but sometimes I still come up short.

Rebecca's two favorite animals to see were the penguins and the flamingos. She had a lot of fun at the zoo. I luckily remembered her hat, but my checks got sunburned. It was a beautiful day with just a slight breeze to keep you cool.
