2010 Digital Book

For Christmas I received a Snapfish 8x8 book from my mom. I decided to make it a 2010 book and have started making digital pages to fill my book. Here is the first one. It is February 2010 and the kit is by Shabby Princess - Seasonal Sampler Amore.

We took 3 friends to Super Franks. They had a great time together playing and eating messy cupcakes - they were messy because RJ turned them on the their side when she picked them up to take out to the car, so the icing was EVERYWHERE.

Christmas Dresses

Cute pic of the girls that is too blurry for christmas cards. But they are so cute!

So I made Christmas cards, but they turned out blurry. I didn't save them at a high enough quality when I was doing it on Photoshop. Silly me. Had them printed, becuase I didn't know they were blurry. I was going to make new ones that weren't blurry, but didn't get around to it. I have baked 32 cupcakes, 18 mini muffins, some where over 5 dozen chocolate chip cookies, 2 dozen bacon wrapped dates, attended my daughter's 4 birthday party, and made her a special birthday tea lunch, and had family christmas party and a secret sister christmas party. All in the last 3 days and tomorrow I get to have a break for a least 2 to 3 days. I get to have a break during the week, not on the weekend. I have a cyst on my ovary that is being taken out tomorrow. I don't know how women in the olden days would do this. How would you know you have a cyst on your ovary if there was no ultrasound? Modern technology is amazing and knowing that my Heavenly Father is watching over me is such a blessing. Also, sometimes I make a post really long and put in some important information so that the people who actually want to take the time to read my blog find out and the ones who don't want to read it all (which is completely fine) sometimes miss it. So unless I get christmas cards done tonight (unlikely with Secret Sister Christmas Party), what should I do? Not send out Christmas cards or send out blurry ones?

Winter Dance Recital

Last Thursday was Rebecca's Winter Dance Recital. It was wonderful. She loved dancing in front of everyone and she did a great job.

Christmas Gifts for RJs Teachers

I put together these little gifts for RJs teachers. It has 4 christmas cards and a little notebook, along with the little envelope it comes in and the tag and matching clothespin.

Sitting up

Nina had her first bath where she sat up. She got unstable and fell back on to the edge and got scared, but otherwise did quite well.

Pleasant Hill Tree Lighting

We went to the Pleasant Hill Tree lighting on 11/30 last week. It was a lot of fun! We had hot chocolate and cookies, a carriage ride, saw Santa, Frosty, choirs singing, and a dance group perform. We had lots of fun!

Rebecca does not like Santa, she is very afraid of him. She is up on daddy's shoulders crying because Santa was coming.

Beauty

I was looking for a scrapbooking challenge blog, to help me keep on scrapping. I found Scrapbookers Anonymous. Their challenge this month is to use rub-ons...which are my favorite! and no patterned paper. The rub-ons are fancy pants. The pictures were taken in March of 2009 at the Dallas LDS Temple grounds. So beautiful!

Union Square

We went to San Francisco last weekend with Steve's brother and family. We went to Union Square. We walked around

and looked at the beautiful window displays. One had little kittens, real live ones. They were adorable! Rebecca had fun jumping in puddles. Dayne didn't want her picture taken. We went to eat at my favorite place in the city, Coriander and then we hit up two (yes two) different cupcake shops. Yum! I got this amazing caramel filled chocolate cupcake that was sprinkled with salt. It was memorable. Ashley and I also hit up this store called the Paper Source. So cool!

Carquinez Shoreline

We went for a walk here with Aunt Julie the other week. So much fun!
