Garden Tea Time Release!

April's new Diner's Club set is released today. Such lovely images in this set.

I love herbal tea and so this set was perfect to sharing an individual bag of tea with a friend. I made this clean and simple card with 3 of the images from the set with a little coloring with my copics.

 

Inside I laid down my packet of tea and marked spots to cut to put the corners in to hold it. Easy Peasy.

Then I stamped off my image and stamped again on the bottom here for inside where the message is.

Flying Kite in PA

Determined to do some scrapbooking! I got this page done with pictures from 2009 Spring Break. I stamped the kite stamp from the March Diner's Club set and paper pieced it and used some embroidery floss as the string on the kite. I'm also including this on the Scrapbooker's Anonymous challenge blog to use stickers. My title and the confetti around it and the joyful tag are stickers. Oh, the size of this page is 11" x 8.5", I got a new album this size and need some pages in it!

FWF Butterflies and Washi

 Last Friday, I had friends who hosted a My Favorite Things party. We had so much fun! I wanted to package up my favorite things (Reisen chocolates, Sarasa pen, Gold Bond lotion travel size, Colgate Wisp) with a super cute tag. My favorite person papercrafting person to get inspiration from for this was Mish Mash. I saw the tag in this post and decided I wanted to use some of my washi tape. To me it is not as wonderful a collaboration of mixed prints as Michelle tends to do, but I was happy with my results. I love this "for you" sentiment from Unity. I don't know what kit it came from, but I LOVE it! So versatile to use on anything. Well, thanks for stopping by and the wonderful comments from you FWF ladies. It sure makes me happy to read them. Mother Knows Best

Mother's Day will be here soon and Gourmet Rubber Stamps just realeased an appetizer set that is perfect for Mother's Day card. I used the newly release Mother Knows Best for this card. That title makes me think of Rapunzel (I've only seen it 5 times with my oldest.) I really like the way they did the song and the reprise too. Anyways, papers are by MME Lost and Found and brad is MME Lush.

MME #33

I scrapbooked! To get me inspired I used the My Mind's Eye Blog Challenge #33, a sketch challenge. I used a picture from my older daughter's most recent birthday. Everything is MME, except the white cardstock, the banner cardstock and the orange gem. I also used a little worn lipstick distress ink around the edges of the base and 5. I still need to put journaling somewhere...not sure where. Any suggestions?

March DT Challenge

"For The Birds" is the challenge for this month. Meaning anything birds or related to birds. I chose this super adorable single New Beginnings. I also added a little flourish from the set Fanciful Flourishes. I LOVE this set! It just has such great flourishes that can go anywhere. Aside from the cardstock, all products are My Mind's Eye Lush: velvet ribbon, patterned paper, gems, and brad. Please go check out the other DT member's inspiration too!

Tuesday Trigger for Moxie Fab

I created this card using this picture for inspiration for Tuesday Trigger by Moxie Fab. The stamp is by Gourmet Rubber Stamp from the Diner's Club kit Prescription for Spring. I used my cuttle bug embossing folder on the back and some pretty pink frilly ribbon. I stamped in brown and colored with some pencils to keep it really soft. I also used Antique Linen and Walnut Stain distress inks. TFL! This card is available for purchase in my etsy store: Spring Card - Brown Pink Flower Damask.

FWF Wish!!

I made this card for my MILs birthday. I purposely chose the glitter chipboard heart and the heart embossing folder to give this lots of heart and very little pink for the Unity Challenge. I like the idea of this card, but I don't like the not perfectly matching ribbon, but nothing to do about it now, we've already written in it and given it to her :) Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out the rest of the people posting for FWF!

This was January 2012 Diner Club kit. I love the distress script stamp in it. Definitely a favorite! Big Day!!

So my dad bought my girls a pancake smiley pan and we got it last night in the mail. So this morning, we HAD to make pancakes...

 Then after breakfast, lots happened. We have a loose tooth that fell out and so in the afternoon Rebecca helped me make a little bag for the tooth fairy to find her tooth. I made the bag with felt and floss and ribbon. I cut out the R and the star with my cuttlebug and the tooth I did by hand. I hand stitched everything on and the whole thing together with embroidary floss. It took maybe an hour or so. It has been a fun day!

Swirly Hearts

I saw a beautiful Papyrus card last month and cased it this week. I used the glass from Let's Celebrate and swirls from Fanciful Flourishes. The hearts are sticker epoxy hearts by Darice. This card is available in my etsy shop Love Card - Glass Red Hearts.
