Hope

I made this last September for the Breast Awareness Month of October and then I didn't post it. For a couple of reasons I didn't post. One, the photos just don't do it justice. It looks so much cooler in real life. Two, I was being lazy. It happens.
So here it is:
So I used a tag from off a one of my kid's piece of clothing. It was super thick which makes it a great base! I used some random metal pieces that I had: a pull chain from a fan, a little frame, a square paperclip, a ribbon slide, a brad with a tiny tag attached. I added flowers and gems and paint and glitter and more. It was so fun creating!

Forever my Sister

I made this notebook back in December, but I don't think I ever shared it! The stamp is from GRS Diner's Club Kit from December Let's Celebrate. I love this sentiment! I paired it with a crochet flower I got from etsy and a circle of gems. The goal was for it to be very girly. One of my favorite parts is that the inside is PINK lined paper! I have this up in my etsy shop Notebook - Purple Pink Sister Friend.

GRS December Diner's Club Preview!

Here is the peek at the Diner's Club set for December! I made this birthday card with two of the stamps from it. They are so cute!!

This card was inspired by this card by Thoughts of  a Cardmaking Scrapbooker. Very different but I had looked at it and liked the layout and so I felt I needed to give credit.

Next I made this little Christmas notepad with the stamp set "Oh Christmas Tree". I kept it simple because I wanted it to be able to go in a purse or bag and not get caught or torn up on stuff. This Christmas set it so cute!

Now go check out the rest of the design teams super cute creations with these lovely stamps!

Heart Happy

Unity has started to doing a once a month challenge on their blog. Their theme for this month is hearts. I found this list pad and sticky notes forever ago at the $1 store and just had to pick them up because they matched this Unity stamp so well. I hadn't ever gotten to doing anything with them. Then with this heart challenge, I just knew I needed to pull them out and do it!

The pink pp is MME, the blue sparkle paper is handmade by Provocraft. Cardstock is DCWV. Stamps are Unity. The border punch is Martha Stewart. I used both Staz-On ink and Marvy Markers for the stamps.

I have been thinking about my One Little Word (Ali Edwards, for those not famaliar, challenges people to choose a word to focus on for the year instead of goals.) I had a word pop in my head, but I thought I would wait and see if any others would be more fitting. Well I started working on this little project and it just came together with the word I had been thinking about. That decided it for me. My word for this year is Love.

Altered P

Altered P I made for my sister-in-law. I made it with Scraptivity's April Kit, but didn't post it on my blog because I didn't want her to see it and then I forgot to post it ever!

Monogramed Notebook

Still getting the hang of my Bind-It-All. I made this cute little notebook for Ashley's birthday. The pages inside have stamps and rub-ons and I thought it was so fun to have some different things on the pages. The black and white paper is flocked and feels lovely. The stamp is by JustRite.

Christmas Tags

I did a secret sis swap with girls at church. For one of the gifts the item had to be handmade. I made her a Christmas Tag set. I made the box from this tutorial: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/tagbox/ I was super happy with how the tags and box turned out!

sorry about the bad lighting job.

Halloween Treat Bags

I made some Halloween treat bags for Rebecca's teachers. They are filled up with yummy mini muffins. Tomorrow is Rebecca's Halloween party and I thought I would give these to her teachers to say thank you. I love this adorable paper by Heidi Grace from the Jeepers Creepers collection. It is shimmery and glittery and lovely!!

My mini muffin recipe was going to be Pumpkin Apple Struesel Muffins, but I ended up not having pureed pumpkin in my cupboard. However, I had sweet potato apple baby food that I used instead. They are delicious!

HHH Friday

This is a card and set that I made for Unity's August Guest Designer Challenge. It was a 1, 2, 3, challenge: 1 stamp, 2 patterned papers, and 3 embellishments. My 1 stamp is Relax from the June KOTM. Cardstock is DCWV and so is the main patterned paper; it is from the Once upon a Time stack. The second patterned paper is K & Company. My 3 embellishments were the ribbon (Target $1), the flower (Kaiserscrapbook that I sprayed with Red Velvet Glimmer mist), and the brown gem (Michael's $1). I used my cuttlebug to emboss the cardstock and Antique Linen Distress Ink to age it. I stamped Relax with Walnut Distress ink. Both Distress Inks were used on cardstock and patterned papers. Oh and the brown organza bag is what Unity stamps used to come in! Inside it is a fizzy ball. In the jar are bath crystals, in the tube is bath confetti and then a little body massager!

HHH Friday

Unity Stamps creations...
I made this card for the Bits and Pieces Challenge and I used leftover paper from the box I altered. I used a box that the flavored drink mixes (that you add to water) came in and cut it to look like a mini magazine holder.

Happy Friday!

Growing in Unity ~ Day 1

This week my papercrafting hobby is taking over my personal blog to post a little fun every day using Unity stamps. For day one I have an altered jumbo clothes pin! I used stamps from Mix-up of Cuteness.

I put a magnet on the back of the images and one on the clothes pin, so I can switch out the images to suit my mood.

Post a comment on this post and every other post until Thursday for a chance to win a Unity Stamp single!

Lists

This is a notebook I made for my sister. I did it back in the summer but forgot to post it. In my family we are huge on lists. My mom, my sister and I all have notebooks and make list after list of anything and everything. So I made this list book for Holly!
