Halloween Decor

I did some Halloween crafting at a friend's house. Love the projects we did. We also made a spider web plate that is not pictured in the pictures. So grateful to have been invited!

GRS DT Challenge - Halloween Banner

Our challenge this month was to think orange. I strayed. I saw that collar on her dress and I though Banner. So I did a Halloween banner that has orange. ;)

Pumpkin Fairy is what we call this outfit! Getting excited for halloween fun!

Not doing much = little blogging

Not much to blog about when I don't do much. I have pictures I need to upload from my camera, but when energy is limited, important things take priority (like making food to eat and doing laundry and that's about all I get done at my house).

Back in October in Texas, Rebecca has a photo shoot. Here are some of her pictures in her Halloween costume.

Pumpkin Patch

Batman, Superman, a Knight and a Princess

Halloween night about to go trick or treat with their dads. We've got Batman, a Knight and a Princess. And Superman and the Princess down below. The mom's stayed back with the 6 week old baby and handed out candy to the kids coming by. Rebecca had a wonderful time with her cousins and takes after her mom, by running from door to door faster than the boys. I guess they would lallygag, but not my girl. No wasting time when their is candy to get. She filled up her whole pumpkin bucket!

Preschool Halloween Party

Rebecca's class had a Halloween party filled with lots of activities and treats. She made a bracelet, stamped a ghost, put stickers on her treat bag, and played. It was fun!

Halloween Treat Bags

I made some Halloween treat bags for Rebecca's teachers. They are filled up with yummy mini muffins. Tomorrow is Rebecca's Halloween party and I thought I would give these to her teachers to say thank you. I love this adorable paper by Heidi Grace from the Jeepers Creepers collection. It is shimmery and glittery and lovely!!

My mini muffin recipe was going to be Pumpkin Apple Struesel Muffins, but I ended up not having pureed pumpkin in my cupboard. However, I had sweet potato apple baby food that I used instead. They are delicious!

Carving a Pumpking

Tonight we went out and bought a pumpkin. Dad carved and RJ helped. She was scared to put her hand in and pull out pumpkin guts. Thanks Dad! You are wonderful!

Also I made pumpkin seeds tonight....SO TASTY!

Happy Halloween!!

Happy Halloween everyone! Rebecca is a ladybug fairy (that's what the tag said at least). We had a Halloween carnival last week. There was a contest of eating a donut of the string and bean bag toss and the all time favorite...Musical Chairs. Rebecca ran and ran around the chairs and the kids because they were too slow. She loved it!

Mom and Dad...you need to get these costumes for next year!
