Happy Birthday me!

Today is my birthday! Last night Steve and I went to Red Lobster to celebrate! Yummy crab legs! Here is an awful picture of me and a good one of Steve after we ate dinner.

After dinner, we walked around downtown Concord for a little bit, then decided to get pie from Marie Callender's. French Silk, Coconut Cream, and Pumpkin Cheesecake. The coconut cream was my favorite, but I was a little sad at how not amazing they were. Oh well.

Finger Paint

Two weeks ago, Rebecca made her first masterpiece. It was lots of fun. She really enjoyed painting herself. Oh and she really liked wiping it off with the wet wipe.

Backyard Fun

Having lived in an upstairs condo, I have not had the wonderful opportunity of having a backyard. Two weeks ago, I stayed at my brother and sister -in law's house. I invited my next door neighbor from the condo to come play in the backyard. The kids had such a blast.

Aptos Weekend

A couple of weekends ago we went to our friends' beach house. Here we are at the beach.

It is hard to tell in this picture, but if you make it bigger you can kind of see. There was this huge amount of birds flying north. It went on and on for almost 10 minutes! Tons of birds just flying together.

Summer Squash

Crissie is growing some squash in her back yard and gave me a couple to eat. Rebecca liked it.

I am not a bad mommy, she had just woken up and yes her longhorn outfit is a little small, but it is so cute and I don't take her out in public in it because of the smallness. She does look a little....white trash?

This is a card and a recipe card I made for grammie. I haven't sent it yet though b/c I'm a slacker. Love my new Unity Stamp though (the meditate one)!

Oh and I got published for the first time this month by Scrapbook News & Review an online publication. And if you feel like becoming a member, you will see me in it again in the August issue!!! yay!!

Popsicles and more

Tons of blogging to do, but lots of packing I need to do too! Lots of cute pics I want on the blog, and who knows when I'm going to have my computer back up b/c I'm going to be a vagabond for at least a few weeks to a few months.

Here is the book Bebe made of the Van Leeuwen family and RJ, so that she has pictures and names and will remember them in between visits. I have a video of this too, but I need to edit it and I don't know if it will get done this week.
