Lots of Rain

We've been having lots of rain lately. Rebecca kept wanting to go out and play while she was sick, but I didn't want her out there in the cold rain. But daddy let her go out the other day. Is there a little something peeking out below that sweatshirt?
Dad's are wonderful!

Digital Quick Page

A quick page is a digital scrapbook page someone else has already put together. You add pictures, title, journaling, and maybe a little more. Here are 3 quick pages I did the other day.

The quick pages are a Meisies Doodles Quick page made by Charne using Subtle Shift, Tickle Me Fancy, and A New Chapter by Gypsy Couture.

Scripture Challenge 2010

I decided almost 2 weeks ago that I was going to do a scripture challenge that is hosted by Patter on her blog Triple the Scraps. Every two weeks we have a different word to study. The first word was hope. Along with this word to study, you make a page/card with the scriptures you choose. I decided to make a little 6x6 album and journal my study experience. So on the back of this hope page is my writings (thoughts and feelings) about what I studied and read. I so fa
r have found this to be a very fun way to change up how I study and to incorporate with my love of
papercrafting. I also thought it would be a nice thing for my posterity.

Playing with Bling Dominoes

For Christmas Rebecca got Bling Dominoes. I don't know why, but I think they are so cool and beautiful. Uncle Matt has been coming over in the afternoons to play with Rebecca. They had fun building towers and knocking them over.
Thanks Matt for you help!

This made me laugh...

but you may not, unless you read a lot of fine print. I got an email from Enterprise Rent-a-Car. For whatever reason, aka bored, I decided to read the email. I can get a free double upgrade. woo hoo. I have no reason to rent a car. Anyways, I go down to read the fine print, in case for some reason I want to find a reason to rent a car. This was the fine print (I changed the color of the fun parts, if you want to just read those):

Hi, there. A few things to remember about our free double upgrade offer. First, it's awesome. Second, it's valid on advance reservations made for an Economy through Intermediate size vehicle at standard daily or weekly rates at participating locations within North America. Find participating locations by calling 1 800 rent-a-car. Whew. Okay. Moving on. A 26-day maximum applies. Rental must end on or before February 10, 2010. The upgraded car class will not appear on your reservation, but we promise it will be applied upon arrival if there's an available car in the next two higher classes — free of charge, naturally. Also, this offer can't be combined with other coupons, offers or discounted rates. As you might imagine, standard rental qualifications apply. Other restrictions, including holidays and blackout dates, may apply. Pickup and drop-off service is subject to geographic and other restrictions. What else, what else? Oh yeah: void where prohibited. Now, that wasn't so bad, was it? Reserve at enterprise.com.

Yes, I have a dry humor and find this very funny. I would read more fine print if they all made it this enjoyable.
