Most of the people who read this blog already know. 3 weeks ago on May 1st, I had a miscarriage. I was 10 weeks along. Steve and I were very sad when I had an ultrasound and there was no heartbeat, but we trust that the Lord has a plan for us. I may not be pregnant, but we have a new baby at our house.
The Palmer's are proud to announce our new addition:
Her name is
Basil, and we think she is
beautiful!!

Just to give you an idea, she is about 5 feet in length. She is very strong too. For now, her and Mo will be in seperate cages. I'll blog when they finally meet!

Kelli- I'm so sorry. You must be heartbroken.
I am very sorry for your loss. I admire your faith.
And sometimes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder...glad you think the new arrival is a looker!
Sorry Kel. I hope Basil is a comfort for you... I love snakes too (& it's all because of Steve actually!). Although that crazy branch thing in her cage kinda freaks me out - it looks a little spider-ish.
I'm sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I had one before Tyler was born, not fun.
