Hanging in there until my mom comes

I forgot how hard it is to have a newborn. All I do is make food, eat food, feed kids and try to accomplish something else. It can be so difficult to be a mom when everything you do just has to be done again. It sometimes feels like you never accomplish anything. You make dinner, but it will have to be made again tomorrow. You do dishes but more will take their place. Same with laundry and cleaning up toys and changing diapers. Can you tell what I did today? No that is because other things have already replaced what I did. But my mom comes this week and hopefully I can accomplish getting my house clean once, so then it can just be maintenance as opposed to trying to catch up from months of neglect.
The picture is RJ and I testing out the new blue camera. Thanks Dad!

It's even worse when your newborn doesn't weight 6lbs. I would pump for 30 minutes. Feed her for 30 minutes. Rest for 30 minutes. Start all over. For 12 weeks I did this.

I don't even want to think about what it will be like with two!

I completely understand this post! It was the hardest aspect of converting from being a working mom to a stay-at-home mom. At least tasks at the office could be completed and projects could be finished (and not just repetitive). And, it's tough with 2 little ones. It gets better as they get older, just be sure to teach them to help with everything. It's hard when their little to let them help, cause it makes it take so much longer. But, mine that helped as little ones still help. Mine that didn't have to help as little ones, still don't help.
It is a great time when they are babies, but it is hard! I hope you enjoyed (or are enjoying) your Mom's visit. I'm glad she can be there to help you! Love you!
